Alurgite is a purple variety of Muscovite - a potassium aluminium managnese silicate hydroxide mineral commonly found in many rock types and as a primary mineral. Muscovite is often associated with other minerals such as Fuchsite and Verdite and is a member of the Mica group of minerals.

Alurgite, like other Micas, has a layered structure of iron magnesium aluminium silicate sheets weakly bonded together by layers of potassium ions. These potassium ion layers produce the perfect cleavage.

Metaphysical Properties

Alurgite allows one to unconsciously perceive ones characteristics allowing unwanted attributes to be corrected. Alurgite may provide insight and encourage brightness of personality. It promotes orderliness and methodical approaches, and assists to look at issues intelligently.
